Trace Modernist Architecture In Dallas from the Mid-1900s

Dr. Jann Mackey will explore the origins of modernist architecture in our city and will trace its evolution through the mid-1900s. From the Stanley Marcus house to modernist institutions, such as Temple Emanu-El, the presentation will address the most important buildings from this time period and also look at the local patrons who had the taste and foresight to break away from traditionalist architectural styles to commission these ground-breaking works.
