An Enthralling Photography Exhibit: “Our Urban Wildlife”
Despite the urban and suburban sprawl of the DFW metroplex, many wild animals not only manage to survive but actually thrive here. An amazing variety of wildlife can be found in the counties of North Texas: everything from red-tailed hawks, coyotes, wild turkeys and bobcats make their homes among fields, subdivisions, and shopping centers.
Warmack Library hosts Chris Jackson of DFW Urban Wildlife. He will present a program on urban wildlife to educate patrons on how exotic wildlife gets into our neighborhoods and survives, and how amateur photographers can capture great images, even without expensive equipment.
Community interaction is an important part of life, which is why Lakeside Villas in Grand Prairie, Texas is urging you to join in the fun at this event.
